Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Early Man is a 2018 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, Timothy Spall, Miriam Margolyes, Rob Brydon and Jaime Aymerich. Aardman Animations in association with BFI. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard Beek, Nick Park, David Sproxton, Peter Lord and Carla Shelley. The movie is written and directed by Nick Park. StudioCanal UK acquired the distribution rights for the film. Early Man was released on 8th March 2018 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. Early Man was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $54 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mark Burton and James Higginson. Cinematography was done by Dave Alex Riddett and editing by Sim Evan-Jones. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams along with Tom Howe.
