The series is directed by Johan Renck. Series originally aired on HBO . HBO International acquired the distribution rights for the television show. Creator of the series is Craig Mazin. Chernobyl Diaries was released on 12th July 2012 and takes a screen time of 65-78 minutes for each episode. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Chernobyl Diaries was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $38 million. Cinematography was done by Jakob Ihre. The music was composed by Hildur Gu Nad Ttir.
