In a world of anthropomorphic vehicles, Lightning McQueen, a race car, finds himself stranded in the rundown town of Radiator Springs where he forms relationships with the townspeople and ultimately chooses to revitalize the forgotten town rather than accepting a sponsorship offer and pursuing his racing dreams. Cars Toons is a 2006 American English-language Animation Comedy film featuring Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, Bonnie Hunt, Larry The Cable Guy, Cheech Marin, Tony Shalhoub and Joe Alaskey. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar Animation Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Darla K. Anderson. Cars Toons is written by John Lasseter, Joe Ranft, Jorgen Klubien, Dan Fogelman, Kiel Murray, Phil Lorin and Steve Purcell and it is directed by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Cars Toons was released on 8th June 2006 and takes a screen time of 117 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Cars Toons was made on a budget of $120 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $462 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dan Fogelman, John Lasseter, Joe Ranft, Kiel Murray, Phil Lorin and Jorgen Klubien.
