Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert West. The series premiered on January 16, 2018 in English on The CW. Warner Bros. Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Salim Akil. Black Lightning has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 45 episodes which have a running time of 39-43 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The music was composed by Kurt Farquhar.
