High school student Alex Truelove starts dating Claire but begins to question his sexuality after becoming friends with openly gay teenager Elliot, leading to a series of encounters and confusion until he finally embraces his identity, comes out as gay, and attends prom with Elliot. Alex Strangelove is a 2018 American English-language Comedy Drama movie starring Daniel Doheny, Antonio Marziale, Madeline Weinstein, Joanna Adler, William Ragsdale, Daniel Zolghadri and David C. Yashin. Alex Strangelove was Produced by Ben Stiller, Jared Goldman and Nicholas Weinstock. The movie is written and directed by Craig Johnson. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Alex Strangelove was released on 11th June 2018 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. Cinematography was done by Hilary Spera and editing by Jennifer Lee. The music was composed by Nathan Larson.
