In a post-apocalyptic future, James Cole is sent back in time to find a virus and its origin, leading him to encounter Jeffrey Goines and Dr. Kathryn Railly while attempting to prevent the outbreak, ultimately resulting in Coles death as a part of his own time travel cycle. 12 Monkeys is a 1995 American English-language Mystery Sci-Fi movie featuring Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe, Brad Pitt, Christopher Plummer, Joseph Melito, Jon Seda and Al Brown. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. 12 Monkeys was released on 4th April 1996 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. 12 Monkeys was made on a budget of $29 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $168 million.
