A young man with a philosophy degree named Rakesh comes to Delhi in search of employment and meets a girl named Kusum, leading to a series of events involving stolen money, a stage play director, a kidnapped baby, and conflicted relationships, ultimately ending with Rakesh and Kusum together while others face various outcomes.
