Zameer

A chemistry professor falls for a woman undergoing ayurvedic treatment while dealing with a spoilt student who tricks him into believing she is terminally ill, leading to a complicated love triangle that ends tragically with the professor marrying the student who ultimately commits suicide. Zameer is a 2005 Hindi-language Drama Musical film starring Ajay Devgn, Amisha Patel, Mahima Chaudhry, Ajay Devgan, Ameesha Patel, Mahima Choudhary and Vijay Saxena. The movie is based on Mazhayethum Munpe. Zameer was Produced by Nitin Raj Aryadath. Zameer is written by Nikhil, Jatin Pandit, Lalit Pandit, Vinay and Srinivasan and it is directed by Kamal. Eklavya Visions Pvt. Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Zameer was released on 4th March 2005 and takes a screen time of 150 mins. Zameer was made on a budget of ₹450 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹158 crore. Cinematography was done by Hari Nair. The music was composed by Jatin Pandit along with Lalit Pandit, Jatin Lalit and Nikhil-vinay.
