A group of friends from a university in Sikkim participate in a five-round competition against Australian students to prevent the sale of their campus to a businessman planning to build a casino. Yaariyan is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie starring Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet Singh, Serah Singh, Nicole Faria, Vikas Verma, Ashish Bhatia and Siddharth Pathak. T-Series was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhushan Kumar. Yaariyan is written by Divya Khosla Kumar and Sanjeev Dutta and it is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar. Yaariyan was released on 10th January 2014 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Yaariyan was made on a budget of ₹21 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹38 crore. Cinematography was done by Sameer Arya and editing by Aarif Sheikh. The music was composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee along with Mithoon Sharma, Pritam Chakraborty, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Anupam Amod.
