Wolf Totem

A student is sent to teach shepherds in Inner Mongolia but becomes entangled in their deep bond with wolves, leading to a struggle to protect their relationship from outside threats and navigating the complex dynamics between man, nature, and governmental control. Wolf Totem is a 2015 Mandarin-language Adventure Drama film starring Feng Shaofeng, Shawn Dou, Ankhnyam Ragchaa, Basen Zhabu, Yin Zhusheng, Shaofeng Feng and Gexige Baoyin. The movie is based on Wolf Totem by Jiang Rong. Wolf Totem was Produced by William Kong, Jean-jacques Annaud, Xavier Casta O, La Peikang and Bill Kong. Wolf Totem is written by Jiang Rong, Alain Godard, Jean-jacques Annaud, Lu Wei and John Collee and it is directed by Jean-jacques Annaud. China Film Group acquired the distribution rights for the film. Wolf Totem was released on 19th February 2015 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
