In an affluent Miami neighborhood, two high school girls falsely accuse their counselor of rape as part of a plan to extort money, leading a detective to suspect foul play, until one of the girls orchestrates her own staged murder to deceive everyone involved and receives a reward from her accomplice. Wild Things is a 1998 American English-language Crime Drama film starring Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell, Denise Richards, Theresa Russell, Daphne Rubin-vega and Justin Goudreau. Mandalay Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rodney M. Liber and Steven A. Jones. Wild Things is written by Stephen Peters and directed by John Mcnaughton. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Wild Things was released on 2nd July 1998 and takes a screen time of 108-115 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Wild Things was made on a budget of $20 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $30 million. Cinematography was done by Jeffrey L. Kimball and editing by Elena Maganini. The music was composed by George Clinton along with George S. Clinton.
