White House Down

A divorced veteran and Capitol Police officer, John Cale, must team up with U.S. President James Sawyer after mercenaries infiltrate and seize the White House, taking hostages, in order to stop the attackers and uncover a conspiracy involving a corrupt political figure, ultimately succeeding in saving the hostages and gaining approval for President Sawyers peace deal. White House Down is a 2013 American English-language Action Drama movie featuring Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Richard Jenkins, James Woods and Nikky Smedley. Columbia Pictures in association with Centropolis Entertainment and Mythology Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brad Fischer, Harald Kloser, James Vanderbilt, Larry J. Franco, Roland Emmerich, Bradley J. Fischer, Larry Franco and Laeta Kalogridis. White House Down is written by James Vanderbilt and directed by Roland Emmerich. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. White House Down was released on 19th July 2013 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. White House Down was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $205 million. Cinematography was done by Anna Foerster and editing by Adam Wolfe. The music was composed by Harald Kloser along with Thomas Wanker and Thomas Wander.
