Two infertile couples on a vacation in Sardinia form a deep bond and offer each other solace and support in their relationship struggles, leading to a transformative experience that brings them closer and instills hope for the future. What We Wanted is a 2020 German-language Drama Comedy motion picture starring Lavinia Wilson, Elyas M barek, Anna Unterberger, Lukas Spisser, Iva H Pperger, Fedor Teyml and Wendi Mclendon-covey. The movie is based on Der Lauf der Dinge by Peter Stamm. Film AG was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Alexander Glehr and Johanna Scherz. The movie is directed by Ulrike Kofler. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. What We Wanted was released on 11th November 2020 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes.
