The series is based on Westworld by Michael Crichton. HBO Entertainment in association with Kilter Films, Bad Robot Productions, Jerry Weintraub Productions and Warner Bros. Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Cherylanne Martin, Michael Polaire, Carly Wray, Stephen Semel, Noreen O toole, David Witz and Jordan Goldberg. Series originally aired on HBO. Warner Bros. Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the series. Creators of the series include Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
