Icon Productions in association with Wheelhouse Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bruce Davey, Stephen Mceveety and Randall Wallace. We Were Soldiers is written by Harold G. Moore, Joseph L. Galloway and Randall Wallace and it is directed by Randall Wallace. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. We Were Soldiers was released on 1st March 2002 in English,Vietnamese and French languages and takes a screen time of 138 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
