After a tragic plane crash, the Marshall University football team rebuilds with a new head coach and a team composed of returning players and walk-ons, eventually experiencing success in the years after the tragedy. Legendary Pictures in association with Thunder Road Pictures and Wonderland Sound and Vision. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Basil Iwanyk and Mcg. We Are Marshall is written by Jamie Linden and Cory Helms and it is directed by Mcg. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. We Are Marshall was released on 22nd December 2006 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. We Are Marshall was made on a budget of $65 million and at the box office it grossed only $43 million.
