A couple moves to Bucharest and lives in an apartment with a large window, where Julia becomes increasingly fearful of a man in a nearby building who watches her, leading her to suspect he is the serial killer known as the Spider, and after reporting him to the police and following him to a strip club, Julias concerns are dismissed by her husband Francis until they discover their neighbor Irinas decapitated body, leading to a confrontation with the man, Daniel Weber, resulting in Julia shooting him in self-defense. Watcher is a 2022 American English-language Drama Horror film featuring Maika Monroe, Karl Glusman, Burn Gorman, Tudor Petrut, Gabriela Butuc, Madalina Anea and Ioana Hirica. The movie is based on The original screenplay by Zack Ford. Watcher was Produced by Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Derek Dauchy, Mason Novick, John Finemore, Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone. The film is written and directed by Chloe Okuno. IFC Midnight acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Watcher was released on 3rd June 2022 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. Watcher was made on a budget of $5 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Benjamin Kirk Nielsen and editing by Michael Block.
