Wake Up Singh

A Sikh man named Gursevak seeks justice for his friends death caused by drug abuse and takes it upon himself to dismantle the drug networks in his community, facing challenges and experiencing the dark reality of the drug trade. Wake Up Singh is a 2016 American Punjabi-language Family Drama movie starring Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Tom Wilkinson, Giancarlo Giannini and Simpi Singh. The movie is based on The Catcher Was a Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff. Animus Films in association with PalmStar Media, Serena Films and Windy Hill Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kevin Scott Frakes, Tatiana Kelly, Buddy Patrick and Jim Young. The movie is directed by Gagandeep Singh Pasricha and Ben Lewin. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Wake Up Singh was released on 26th February 2016 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robert Rodat. Cinematography was done by Andrij Parekh and editing by Mark Yoshikawa. The music was composed by Howard Shore.
