Waarish

A wealthy widower divides his property between his sons, causing anger and violence, leading to his own death, the imprisonment of one son, and a plot to kill his grandson, all while a love triangle unfolds with the potential to protect the land. Waarish is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language Drama motion picture starring Smita Patil, Raj Babbar, Amrita Singh, Raj Kiran, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Amrish Puri and Kuldeep Kaur. The movie is based on Kaare Hatthi by Sohan Singh Hans. Waarish was Produced by Joga Singh Cheema, Swarn Yograj, , J. S. Cheema and Baldev Gill. Waarish is written by Jagdish Khanna and Uttam Singh and it is directed by Ravinder Peepat and Raveendra Peepat. Waarish was released on 6th May 1988. The screenplay for the movie was written by Baldev Gill. Cinematography was done by Manmohan Singh and editing by Subhash Sehgal. The music was composed by Jagdish Khanna along with Uttam Singh and Uttam-jagdish.
