An Interpol agent betrayed by his friends sets out to take revenge against the friends who work for a secret agency. Vivegam is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Action Adventure film featuring Ajith Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan, Amila Terzimehic, Serge Crozon-cazin and Bashar Rahal. Sathya Jyothi Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Senthil Thyagarajan, T. G. Thyagarajan, Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. The film is written and directed by Siva. Sathya Jyothi Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Vivegam was released on 24th August 2017. Vivegam was made on a budget of ₹130 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹112 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Siva, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Aadhi Narayana. Cinematography was done by Vetri and editing by Ruben. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Anirudh Ravichander.
