Vishwaroopam is an Indian spy film with a prequel and sequel in which a RAW agent is tasked with defeating an Al-Qaeda member and his fellow jihadis planning to attack New York City. Vishwaroopam 2 is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama motion picture starring Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Jaideep Ahlawat and Elona Gagani. Raaj Kamal Films International in association with and Aascar Films PVT. Limited. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chandra Haasan, Kamal Haasan, V. Ravichandran and Jude S. Walko. Vishwaroopam 2 is written by Kamal Haasan, Chakri Toleti and Atul Tiwari and it is directed by Kamal Haasan. Raaj Kamal Films International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Vishwaroopam 2 was released on 10th August 2018 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Vishwaroopam 2 was made on a budget of ₹55 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹46 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanu Varghese and Shamdat Sainudeen and editing by Mahesh Narayan and Vijay Shankar. The music was composed by M Ghibran along with Ghibran Muhammad.
