Virunga was Produced by Orlando Von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara. The movie is written and directed by Orlando Von Einsiedel. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Virunga was released on 7th November 2014 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Franklin Dow and editing by Katie Bryer, Masahiro Hirakubo, Miikka Leskinen and Peta Ridley. The music was composed by Patrick Jonsson.
