Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll

Violet Evergarden is sent to a prestigious girls boarding school to assist Isabella, but struggles to fit in and has no interest in debutante skills, leading Isabella to initially distrust her until realizing Violets lack of interest in her status, eventually leading to Isabella confessing her past and having Violet write a letter for her orphan sister, Taylor, and three years later, Taylor arrives in Leiden wanting to work as a postman and is reluctantly hired by Claudia, who assigns Benedict to train her, while Violet helps Taylor learn to read and expresses her desire to deliver happiness as a postman, leading Taylor to write a letter to Isabella before deciding to become a postman and eventually being adopted by the Evergarden family. The movie is based on Violet Evergarden by Kana Akatsuki. The movie is directed by Haruka Fujita. Shochiku acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The motion picture has a running time of 90 minutes.
