Madhavan Ezhuthachans determination to open a school in his village is fulfilled, but his sudden death leads to complications as his son files for partition, halting the schools operation, with P. K. Sudhakaran becoming entangled in the situation due to his investment in the school. Vidhyarambham is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Sreenivasan, Gouthami, Nedumudi Venu, Kpac Lalitha, Gautami, Murali Pillai and Philomina Antony. Seven Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) G. P. Vijayakumar. Vidhyarambham is written by Sreenivasan and directed by Jayaraj Nair. Seven Arts acquired the distribution rights for the film. Vidhyarambham was released on 1st January 1990. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sreenivasan. Cinematography was done by A. V. Thomas and editing by L. Bhoominathan. The music was composed by Bombay Ravi.
