Vichitra Jeevitham

A man named Chandram kills his boss after he tries to molest his wife, is sentenced to death but dies in a police van accident and fakes his death before his wife gives birth to a son and becomes friends with another woman whose husband is in fact Chandram, who is later charged with bigamy but acquitted. Vichitra Jeevitham is a 1978 Indian Telugu-language Drama motion picture featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Vanisri, Jayasudha, Mohan Babu Manchu, Amanda Smith, Dhulipala Seetarama Sastry and Ramaprabha. The movie is based on The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy. Sri Umalakshmi Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Glenn Webster, Nidamarthi Padmakshi and N. Pushpa Bhatt.
