Ananda Bhupathis wife Gayatri Devi is abducted on the opening ceremony of their grand palace, but she escapes and entrusts a valuable necklace to an Adivasi, leading to a feud between their families; years later, their children Roja and Raja fall in love but face opposition from Rojas father who discovers Rajas true lineage, and Raja embarks on a mission to clear his fathers name. Vetagadu is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language Action Drama film starring N. T. Rama Rao, Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri, Sridevi Kapoor, Raogopalrao, Satyanarayana Kaikala, Allu Ramalingaiah and Vijayalakshmi. Roja Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Arjuna Raju and K. Sivarama Raju. The movie is directed by K. Raghavendra Rao.
