During the Mexican Rebellion of 1866, an unsavory group of American adventurers are hired by the forces of Emporer Maximilian to escort a countess to Vera Cruz. Vera Cruz is a 1954 English-language Adventure Western film featuring Gary Cooper, Burt Lancaster, Ernest Borgnine, Denise Darcel, Cesar Romero, Charles Bronson and Ketty Clavijo. Hecht-Lancaster Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) James Hill. Vera Cruz is written by Roland Kibbee, James R. Webb and Borden Chase and it is directed by Robert Aldrich. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Vera Cruz was released on 25th December 1954 in English and Spanish languages and takes a screen time of 94 min. Vera Cruz was made on a budget of $1 million. Cinematography was done by Ernest Laszlo and editing by Alan Crosland Jr. The music was composed by Hugo Friedhofer.
