Venom is a 2005 English-language Horror film written by Flint Dille, John Zuur Platten and Brandon Boyce. The movie is directed by Jim Gillespie and produced by Scott Faye and Karen Lauder under the banner of Miramax Films in collaboration with Dimension Films, Outerbanks Entertainment and Collision Entertainment. A group of teenagers fear for their lives in the swamps of Louisiana, chased by Mr. Jangles, a man possessed by 13 evil souls, and now relentless in his pursuit of new victims. Venom stars Agnes Bruckner in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jonathan Jackson, Laura Ramsey, D. J. Cotrona, Meagan Good, Bijou Phillips and Method Man. The music was composed by James L. Venable along with John Debney. Cinematography was done by Steve Mason and editing by Paul Martin Smith. The motion picture has a running time of 85 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $0 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Dimension Films.
