Horror Mystery Thriller
An art critic and his friend stumble upon a collection of paintings by a deceased artist, leading to a series of mysterious deaths and hallucinations as the paintings gain popularity and their dark origins are revealed. Velvet Buzzsaw is a 2019 American English-language Horror Mystery motion picture starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, Toni Collette, Zawe Ashton, Tom Sturridge, Natalia Dyer and Brian Brehm. Netflix was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jennifer Fox. The motion picture is written and directed by Dan Gilroy. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Velvet Buzzsaw was released on 1st February 2019 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. Velvet Buzzsaw was made on a budget of $21 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Elswit and editing by John Gilroy. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami along with Buck Sanders.
