A man named Vinayagam and his brothers scheme to find a woman named Koppuram Devi for Vinayagam to marry, but after discovering the first woman they found was already married with kids, they eventually save the family of the second Koppuram Devi from a goon and Vinayagam is allowed to marry her. Veeram is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language Action Family film starring Ajith Kumar, Tamannaah, Tamanna Bhatia, Vidharth Subramanian, Bala, Santhanam N and Appukutty. Vijaya Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) B. Bharathi Reddy and B. Venkatarama Reddy. Veeram is written by Bhoopathy Raja, Bharathan and J. Siva Kumar and it is directed by J. Siva Kumar. Vijaya Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Veeram was released on 24th February 2017 and takes a screen time of 156 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Veeram was made on a budget of ₹45 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹83 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Siva. Cinematography was done by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
