A man named David Aames shares the story of his life to a therapist while wearing a mask, revealing his transformation from a carefree playboy who falls in love, to someone disfigured and depressed, who eventually discovers he has been in a cryonic suspension and chooses to wake up, saying goodbye to loved ones before leaping off a building, only to wake up to a female voice. Vanilla Sky is a 2001 American English-language Fantasy Mystery movie featuring Tom Cruise, Pen Lope Cruz, Kurt Russell, Jason Lee, Noah Taylor, Cameron Diaz and Arnold Montey. The movie is inspired from Abre los Ojos by Alejandro Amen bar Mateo Gil. Cruise/Wagner Productions in association with Vinyl Films and Summit Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Cameron Crowe, Paula Wagner and Tom Cruise. Vanilla Sky is written by Alejandro Amenabar, Mateo Gil and Cameron Crowe and it is directed by Cameron Crowe. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Vanilla Sky was released on 30th June 2018 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Vanilla Sky was made on a budget of $68 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $203 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Cameron Crowe. Cinematography was done by John Toll and editing by Joe Hutshing and Mark Livolsi. The music was composed by Nancy Wilson.
