Valentine is a 2001 English-language Horror Mystery film written by Gretchen J. Berg, Aaron Harberts, Donna Powers and Wayne Powers. The movie is directed by Jamie Blanks and produced by Dylan Sellers. After a disastrous date with a loser, one of the girls, a pre-med student, is murdered by a Cherub-mask wearing killer who sent her a death threat in the form of a Valentine card prior to the attack. Valentine features David Boreanaz in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Denise Richards, Marley Shelton, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Capshaw, Jessica Cauffiel and Hedy Burress. The motion picture is based on Valentine by Tom Savage. The music was composed by Don Davis. Cinematography was done by Rick Bota and editing by Steve Mirkovich. The film has a running time of 96 minutes. It was released on 12th April 2001. The Film was successful at box office. Valentine was made on a budget of $10 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $36 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures.
