A pilot named Rusty Griswold wants to revive the excitement of his childhood family vacations, so he convinces his family to embark on a road trip to Walley World, encountering various mishaps along the way, but ultimately rekindling his marriage and planning a romantic trip to Paris. Vacation is a 2015 American English-language Adventure Comedy motion picture starring Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Leslie Mann, Beverly D angelo, Chris Hemsworth, Chevy Chase and Emma Jonnz. The movie is inspired from Characters by John Hughes. New Line Cinema in association with BenderSpink and Big Kid Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Bender and David Dobkin. Vacation is written by Jonathan M Goldstein, John Francis Daley, John Hughes and Jonathan Goldstein and it is directed by John Francis Daley, Jonathan M Goldstein and Jonathan Goldstein. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Vacation was released on 6th August 2015 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. Vacation was made on a budget of $31 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Barry Peterson and editing by Jamie Gross. The music was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh.
