After a breakup, Ramvilas seeks comfort from his detective friend and befriends a homeless woman, but their lives become entangled when his ex mistakenly leaves behind a bag of cash, attracting the attention of a French-speaking crook and leading to a series of deceitful and intense events that test their relationships and ultimately reach a thrilling resolution. Utt Pataang was Produced by Aparna Joshi. Utt Pataang is written by Su Arun Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Saurabh Shukla and Srikanth Velagaleti and it is directed by Srikanth Velagaleti and Srikanth V. Velagaleti. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Utt Pataang was released on 1st February 2011. Utt Pataang was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹40 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Saurabh Shukla. Cinematography was done by Arun Varma and editing by Sankalp Meshram. The music was composed by Shamir Tandon along with Sanjoy Chowdhury.
