Utsav

A film showcases the story of a controversial judge, Lenin Ratnayake, and his mishandling of an alleged sexual abuse case, highlighting the injustice suffered by the victim and has received international recognition before being screened in Sri Lanka. Utsav is a 2014 Sinhala-language Drama film starring Thilakshini Ratnayake, Saugat Malla, Sanjog Koirala, Gaurav Pahari, Menuka Pradhan, Prakriti Shrestha and Rashmi Bhatta. Utsav was Produced by H D Premasiri. The motion picture is written and directed by Prasanna Vithanage. EAP acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Utsav was released on 29th August 2014 and takes a screen time of 53 minutes. Cinematography was done by M D Mahindapala and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by K.
