A selfless man named Neenu catches the attention of a psychology student named Lakshmi, who falls in love with him and tries to help him overcome his selflessness while also evading an underworld don and the police who mistakenly believe he is an undercover agent, only to discover that the property everyone is after is actually fictional, ultimately conveying the message that true happiness comes from selflessness and living in the present. Uppi 2 is a 2015 Indian Kannada-language Action Mystery movie starring Kristina Akheeva, Parul Yadav, Sayaji Shinde, K Shobharaj, Tennis Krishna, Bank Janardhan and Priyanka Upendra. Upendra Productions in association with Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions / Nallamalupu Bujji. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Priyanka Upendra. Uppi 2 is written by Priyanka Upendra and directed by Upendra. Shankar Enterprises acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Uppi 2 was released on 14th August 2015 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Uppi 2 was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹48 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Upendra. Cinematography was done by Ashok Kashyap and editing by Sri Crazymindz. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty.
