In a dystopian future where hemophages, genetically mutated creatures, roam the earth, a rebel named Violet finds herself on a mission to steal anti-mutant weapons, only to discover a mysterious boy named Six who holds a virus valuable to the corrupt Vice Cardinal Daxus. Ultraviolet is a 2006 American English-language Action Sci-Fi film starring Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright, Nick Chinlund, William Fichtner, Sebastien Andrieu, Ida Martin and Ted Thomas. Nickelodeon Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Baldecchi. The film is written and directed by Kurt Wimmer. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ultraviolet was released on 30th March 2006 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. Ultraviolet was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $31 million. Cinematography was done by Arthur Wong and editing by William Yeh. The music was composed by Klaus Badelt.
