Ujala

A poor man named Ramu dreams of a better life with his family and girlfriend, but his childhood friend Kalu becomes a villain in his life, leading him into a path of crime; however, Ramu eventually proves his innocence in a final confrontation with Kalu. Ujala is a 1959 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Shammi Kapoor, Mala Sinha, Raaj Kumar, Leela Chitnis, Raaj Kumar Pandit, Dhumal and Edwina Lyons. Ujala was Produced by F.c. Mehra. Ujala is written by Qamar Jalalabadi, Naresh Saigal and Manohar Singh Sehrai and it is directed by Naresh Saigal. Ujala was released on 1st January 1959 and takes a screen time of 109 mins. Cinematography was done by Shivram Malaya and editing by Pran Mehra. The music was composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
