A man named Prabhakar double-crosses a criminal after accepting a smuggling job and flees to Australia with his daughter, only to return years later and be targeted for revenge. Inkfinite Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Inkfinite Pictures. Ugramm is written by Prashanth Neel and K. Ram Shrilaxman and it is directed by Prashanth Neel. Thoogudeepa Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ugramm was released on 21st February 2014 and takes a screen time of 141 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ugramm was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹30 crore. Cinematography was done by Bhuvan Gowda, Ravi Varman and Ravi Kumar Sana and editing by Srikanth Gowda. The music was composed by Ravi Basrur.
