During World War II, an American submarine is turned into a German U-boat in order to steal the Enigma coding device, but their plan goes wrong when they are torpedoed by a resupply submarine, leading to sacrifices, battles, and ultimately the crews rescue by a US Navy flying boat. U-571 is a 2000 English-language Action War movie starring Matthew Mcconaughey, Bill Paxton, Harvey Keitel, Jon Bon Jovi, Jake Weber, Erik Palladino and Norman Campbell Rees. U-571 was Produced by Dino De Laurentiis and Martha De Laurentiis. The movie is directed by Jonathan Mostow. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. U-571 was released on 20th April 2000 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
