A group of young tourists in Brazil become stranded after a bus crash, and while seeking help at a remote house, they uncover a horrifying operation involving organ harvesting. Turistas is a 2006 American English-language Horror Mystery motion picture featuring Josh Duhamel, Melissa George, Olivia Wilde, Desmond Askew, Beau Garrett, Max Brown and Kimberly-rose Wolter. Fox Atomic in association with 2929 Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Marc Butan, Scott Steindorff, John Stockwell and Joe Zenga. Turistas is written by Michael Arlen Ross and directed by John Stockwell. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Turistas was released on 5th April 2007 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Turistas was made on a budget of $10 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $14 million. Cinematography was done by Enrique Chediak and Peter Zuccarini and editing by Jeff McEvoy. The music was composed by Paul Haslinger.
