The story follows Sulu, a middle-class housewife who wins a contest and becomes a radio jockey, facing family resistance and struggles to balance her personal and professional life, but eventually finds a new opportunity managing a tiffin service while her husband takes over the business. T-Series in association with Ellipsis Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shanti Sivaram Maini, Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar. Tumhari Sulu is written by Suresh Triveni and Vijay Maurya and it is directed by Suresh Triveni. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Tumhari Sulu was released on 17th November 2017 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Tumhari Sulu was made on a budget of ₹20 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹32 crore. Cinematography was done by Saurabh Goswami and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. The music was composed by Gur Randhawa along with Rajat Nagpal, Santanu Ghatak, Guru Randhawa, Tanishk Bagchi, Amartya Bobo Rahut, Laxmikant Pyarelal and Karan Kulkarni. At the 2018 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Film.
