Tumhare Liye

The story spans over several decades and follows the love story of Gauri and Prakash, who face opposition but eventually get married, only for Gauris behavior to change dramatically during their honeymoon and reveal a troubled past with a priest, resulting in their tragic deaths and a recurring cycle of reincarnation until they learn that their child must live to break the curse, leading Renuka to sacrifice herself for their happiness in the end. Tumhare Liye is a 1978 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, Ashok Kumar, Ashok Kumar Ganguly, Neelam Mehra, Anita Guha and Zarina Wahab. The movie is directed by Basu Chatterjee. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Tumhare Liye was released on 1st January 1978. Cinematography was done by K. K. Mahajan. The music was composed by National Award winner Jaidev Verma along with Naqsh Lyallpuri.
