The film is about Marlo, a mother of three, including a newborn. Marlo s brother gives her a night nanny as a gift. Hesitant with the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully. Tully is a 2018 American English-language Comedy Drama movie starring Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Mark Duplass, Ron Livingston, Asher Miles Fallica, Lia Frankland and Shade Rupe. Bron Studios in association with Right of Way Films and Denver and Delilah Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Helen Estabrook, Diablo Cody, Mason Novick, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Reitman, Charlize Theron, A.j. Dix and Beth Kono. Tully is written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tully was released on 1st November 2020 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $0 million. Cinematography was done by Eric Steelberg and editing by Stefan Grube. The music was composed by Rob Simonsen.

Tullys alien warmth and android like way of thinking only grow weirder as the film goes on, and while this is not a subtle film, theres something graceful and true about how casually it explores the ways in which people now outsource certain parts of their lives.One of the smartest things about Codys script is how it balances the scales of Marlos life, never taking something off her plate without putting something on it in return.
