Truth is a 2015 American English-language Biography Drama film featuring Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Topher Grace, Elisabeth Moss, Bruce Greenwood, Stacy Keach and Paul Godfrey. The movie is based on Truth and Duty by Mary Mapes. Truth was Produced by William Sherak, Brad Fischer, Brett Ratner, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer, Doug Mankoff and Andy Spaulding. Truth is written by James Vanderbilt and Mary Mapes and it is directed by James Vanderbilt. Sony Pictures Classics acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Truth was released on 17th March 2016 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. Truth was made on a budget of $9 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by James Vanderbilt. Cinematography was done by Mandy Walker and editing by Richard Francis-Bruce. The music was composed by Brian Tyler.
