Trikal

A dark comedy set in Goa, India in 1961, Trikal follows the story of a wealthy and influential Goan family and their struggles, including Dona Marias attempt to marry off her granddaughter Anna and accidentally summoning a spirit. Trikal is a 1985 Hindi-language Drama motion picture starring Leela Naidu, Anita Kanwar, Neena Gupta, Soni Razdan, Dalip Tahil, Naseeruddin Shah and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Trikal was Produced by Freni Variava and Freni M Variava. Trikal is written by Shyam Benegal and Shama Zaidi and it is directed by Shyam Benegal. Trikal was released on 30th August 1985 and takes a screen time of 137 min. Cinematography was done by Ashok Mehta and editing by Bhanudas Divakar. The music was composed by Vanraj Bhatia. At the 1986 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Direction.
