The movie depicts the traditional practice of showcasing movies in tents for local communities, known as Touring Talkies, and how it has survived until the present day. Touring Talkies is a 2013 Indian Marathi-language Drama motion picture starring Subodh Bhave, Trupti Bhoir, Milind Shinde, Kishor Kadam, Vaibhav Mangle, Chinmay Sant and Neha Pendsev. Trupti Bhoir Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Trupti Bhoir. The motion picture is written and directed by Gajendra Ahire. Touring Talkies was released on 19th April 2013. Cinematography was done by Mahesh Limaye and editing by Ballu Saluja. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
