Action Crime Drama Thriller

Tyler Yim impregnates a lesbian cop, Ah Jo, and joins an unlicensed bodyguard service, preventing an assassination and attempting to convince a butcher named Jack Chow to start a bodyguard service, amidst threats from a group of mercenaries called the Angels, all while trying to give stolen money to Ah Jo in the hospital, but ultimately ends up trapped in an apartment with Jack, escaping together and saving Jacks wife and Ah Jo, while Jack surrenders and Tyler recovers the stolen money. Time and Tide is a 2000 Cantonese-language Action Crime film featuring Nicholas Tse, Wu Bai, Anthony Wong, Jun Kung, Candy Lo, Cathy Tsui and Hark Tsui. Film Workshop was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tsui Hark. Time and Tide is written by Koan Hui, Hark Tsui and Tsui Hark and it is directed by Hark Tsui and Tsui Hark. Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Time and Tide was released on 19th October 2000 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $4 million. Editing was done by Marco Mak. The music was composed by Tomy Wai.
