During the Vietnam War, a soldier named Roland Bozz defies the war, develops leadership skills, befriends an aspiring writer named Jim Paxton, faces harassment from a racist soldier, chooses to have the soldier removed after a failed attempt on his life, plans to escape to Mexico but stays to protect Paxton, accidentally injures his eye, which leads to Paxtons discharge, and leaves Paxton uncertain about Bozzs future. Tigerland is a 2000 American English-language Drama War movie featuring Colin Farrell, Matthew Davis, Shea Whigham, Clifton Collins Jr., Thomas Guiry, Cole Hauser and Geoff Mullins. Regency Enterprises in association with New Regency. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan, Steven Haft and Beau Flynn. Tigerland is written by Ross Klavan and Michael Mcgruther and it is directed by Joel Schumacher. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
