On his first day after being released from jail for 14 armed bank robberies, Lucas finds himself caught up in someone else s robbery. Perry has decided to hold up the local bank to raise money so that he can keep his daughter, Meg, and get her the treatment she needs. Dugan, a detective, assumes Lucas helped plan the robbery, and hence Lucas, Perry and Meg become three fugitives. Written by Rob Hartill Three Fugitives is a 1989 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Nick Nolte, Martin Short, James Earl Jones, Sarah Doroff, Sarah Rowland Doroff, Alan Ruck and Brian J. Williams. Touchstone Pictures in association with Silver Screen Partners IV and Lauren Shuler Donner Production. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lauren Shuler Donner. The film is written and directed by Francis Veber. Buena Vista Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Three Fugitives was released on 27th January 1989 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Three Fugitives was made on a budget of $15 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $40 million. Cinematography was done by Haskell Wexler and editing by Bruce Green. The music was composed by David Mchugh.
